St Winifred's Well - Holywell
Located close to the famous religious site of St. Winifred's Well, in the picturesque town of Holywell, our office is ideally located only a few minutes from the main A55.
The famous well gets its name from the story of a young local girl called Winifred who, after rejecting his advances, was beheaded by Prince Caradog. Her father, who was praying in the church, joined the severed head to Winifred’s body and she was revived. A well was built at the spot where Winifred's head fell and people believed that its water could cure diseases.
